Amanda the Adventurer: Timeline Reference Guide

[SPOILERS!] This guide is simply a starting place to build the timeline of Amanda the Adventurer. All I have done is grab as many dates as I could find within the game and place them in chronological order. The information in parenthesis tells where to find the date or the logic I used to place the event where it is. Please let me know if I have made a mistake or another date has been found. Enjoy!

The Timeline

1984

Summer of 1984 – A VHS tape appears on the trap door with this label. Contains the clues to the wardrobe containing the bucket. (Located on the side of the VHS.)

1993

March 12th – A certificate is given to Katherine Park for her dedication and achievements in children’s library services. This was presented by Alejandro Philips. (Located on the cork board at the start of the game.)

1994

April 8th, 20:42 EST – The Flooding Warning for Kensdale OH lasts until this time. (Located within the warning in the “Whats a Family?” VHS.)

1996

Christmas 1996 – A VHS tape appears within the wardrobe with this label. It also reads, “Home Movies”. Provides a number for Blabbot. (Located on the side of the VHS.)

1999

Summer of 1999 – The original Amanda the Adventurer series is said to be “something special”. I think this is when the series started. (Located in the article on the cork board during the clock puzzle, prompted by watching the “Oh no! Accidents!” VHS.)

13th Month 30th, 40:65 EST – The Blizzard Warning for Kensdale OH lasts until this time. Clearly, the warning is incorrect. (Located within the warning in the “Whats a Family?” VHS.)

2000

March 24th – The article “Catching Up With Sam” by Lacey Mitchel is released. The writer talks to Sam about his TV show. (Located on the cork board during the clock puzzle, prompted by watching the “Oh no! Accidents!” VHS.)

March 24th – The article “Celtic Relic Stolen” by Francisco Kelly is released. (Located on the back of the previous article mentioned.)

The Green Tape: “Coffee Break with Sadie Kopper” – Sam discusses the show and the chance it may become a cartoon. (Theorized. Last year, Sam Colton began the original Amanda the Adventurer series. He was recently approached about making Amanda the Adventurer a cartoon.)

2001

2001 – The copyright year for the VHS tape “Oh no! Accidents!”. (Located in the credits of the VHS tape.)

2002

March 8th, 2:47-2:49 PM – Aqua Blue VHS features surveillance footage of Rebecca Colton signing a contract. (Located within the recording.)

2003

May 6th, 21:00 EST – The Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Kensdale OH lasts until this time. (Located within the warning in the “Whats a Family?” VHS.)

2004

February 29th, 23:00 EST – The Tornado Warning for Kensdale OH lasts until this time. (Located within the warning in the “Whats a Family?” VHS.)

Remaining Items

Here are a few items that I have not been able to confidently place.

The Orange Tape: “Lauren”
– Occurs after the cartoon starts luring children.
– Probably 2001 or later.

The Red Tape: “45 News Update”
– 3 weeks prior, Sam Colton disappeared.
– Last year, Hameln Entertainment purchased the rights to Amanda the Adventurer.
– I think this occurred in 2001 or 2002, but I am not sure.

The Purple Tape: “Recording”
– Sam is still around, so this probably occurs before his disappearance.
– Probably before The Red Tape.
