How to Avoide this Update so Your Mods Don’t Break
Important
If your game already updated you can skip this guide and just downgrade your game Downgrader[www.nexusmods.com]
1. Stop the update and close Steam.
2. Search for the steamapps folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps)
3. Go into the downloading folder and delete the folder 489830 (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\downloading)
4. Go back to the steamapps folder and look for “appmanifest_489830.afc” and open it with Notepad (recommend Notepad++)
Read carefully now
Change “BytesToDownload” to 0, “BytesDownloaded” to 0, “BytesStaged” to 0, “AutoUpdateBehavior”to 0 and “ScheduledAutoUpdate” to 0 aswell. Keep the file open we still need to modifiy a few values later.
Now we need to find the right Build ID, LastUpdate ID and Depot IDs. You can find them here[steamdb.info]. Important: Should Bethesda decide to push another update you have to get new values again.
“buildid” Vaule with new value from SteamDB.
If you find spelling mistakes pls inform me in the comments.
