- Carefree: Wanderlust restores one additional energy.
- Car Savvy: Restore one more durability whenever you restore durability.
- Fast Learner: Start with one skill point and gain a skill point when you read.
- Worker: Start with more cash.
- Downer: When you become sad, also become satisfied. It rains more often.
Unlocked Traits
- Smoker: Consumes 2 cigarettes instead of 1 when using cigarettes. Unlocked by smoking 14 cigarettes.
- Heavy Smoker: Consumes 3 cigarettes instead of 1. Unlocked by smoking 36 cigarettes.
- Loner: Gain 1 energy at the start of each turn during events when driving alone. Unlocked by skipping picking up hitchhikers.
- Workaholic: Aren’t you on a Road Trip? Unlocked by working at the same place 3 times.
- Mechanic: Get better prices at garages. Unlocked by using mechanic-related items.
- Broke: Remove one cash threat at the start of the player phase. Unlocked by losing 0 cash when taking cash threat damage.
- Inspired Worker: Work costs less energy. Unlocked by working while inspired.
- City Kid: Get inspired when entering a city. Unlocked by clearing obstacles while exploring the city.
- Impatient: Get “In the Zone” when escaping an event. Unlocked by escaping events.
- Rain Lover: Sleeping in the tent while it’s raining restores energy fully and inspires you. Unlocked by introspection.
- Comfortable: Staying in a hostel has a chance of giving you a skill point. Unlocked by staying in a hostel three times.
- Moody: Gain 1 energy when rotating out a status effect. Unlocked by rotating out a status effect 5 times.
- Optimist: Happy lasts twice as long. Unlocked by using happy turns.
- Junkie: You’re in constant withdrawal. Unlocked by using drugs excessively.
- Good Driver: Drive faster. Unlocked by not taking any durability or gas damage for 6 complete roads.
- Bad Driver: Get one armor at the start of road events. Unlocked by blacking out from taking durability damage.
- Glutton: Become hungry more often. Unlocked by eating large amounts of junk food.
- Crafty: Items are considered SWIFT. Unlocked by using crafty items.
- Vegetarian: Consuming vegetarian food gives you 1 energy. Unlocked by introspection.
- Drunk Meat Eater: Consuming vegetarian food gives you 1 energy. You can still eat meat, but only when drunk. Unlocked by eating meat while drunk and vegetarian.
- Careful Car Owner: Durability threats always attack. Unlocked by not letting your durability drop below 80%.
- Pinch-Purse: More likely to get robbed. Unlocked by not spending money.
- Social Drinker: Turning in quests while drunk earns you more skill points. Unlocked by being drunk while talking to people.
- Alcoholic: When you’re no longer drunk, become sad. Unlocked by drinking a lot while already drunk.
- Untrustworthy: Find fewer quests. Unlocked by failing enough quests.
- Perfectionist: All skills/items that only target one threat ignore shields. Unlocked by using skills and items that ignore shields.
- Rehabilitated: Start from the rehab facility. Unlocked by completing the rehab ending.
- Racer: Adds special events during road events. Unlocked by completing the race ending.
- Veteran: No perks, harder events earlier. Unlocked by unlocking 7 endings.
- Social Master: All hitchhiker skills have one additional use. Unlocked by acquiring all social skills.
- Working Class Hero: Using a basic skill has a 50% chance to become inspired. Unlocked by acquiring all basic skills.
- King of the Road: Exhausted skills can still be used, but lose 1 durability and 1 gas. Unlocked by acquiring all driving skills.
- True Hiker: Destroy the attacking threat when a threat destroys armor. Unlocked by acquiring all hiking skills.
- Scavenger: Using a thrifty skill adds a small item to your glovebox with one use. Unlocked by acquiring all thrifty skills.
- Ultimate Gourmet: Consuming food from the glovebox destroys 1-2 random threats. Unlocked by acquiring all gourmet skills.
- Bookworm: Read faster. Unlocked by finishing 3 books.
- Spartan: Constantly satisfied if you have no items in your trunk. Unlocked by introspection.
- Hoarder: Gain 2 energy after each road event if your trunk is full. Unlocked by filling your entire trunk.
- Sugar Addict: Gain 1 extra energy but become more tired when consuming sugary items. Unlocked by consuming sugary items.
- Experienced: Have-a-go now has 5 maximum uses. Unlocked by using have-a-go 30 times.
- Lucky Bastard: You’re rich! Unlocked by winning the lottery.
- Allergic: Lose one energy when driving on a country road. Unlocked by introspection.
- In Denial: You’re in constant withdrawal. Unlocked by refusing aid.
- Litterbug: Add one gas threat to events in forest and mountain areas. Unlocked by throwing away trash outside the car.
