Doki Doki Literature Club Plus!: DDLC Pictures Full Guide

In this guide, I’ll be listing every picture as 1-113 but I will also be separating them into their respective categories to make it easier to track, and I’ll try to be as specific as possible. This guide may contain potential spoilers, so continue reading at your own discretion. Numbers will go from left to right and loop back to the beginning as if you were reading a book.

1-7. Not sure whether you unlock these automatically or if they just unlock over the course of the game but they have no acquisition requirements, if you don’t have them yet, do a full run of the game and check again.
8. Finish the Side Story “Trust 1”
9. Finish the Side Story “Respect 1”
10. Finish the Side Story “Understanding 1”
11. Finish the Side Story “Trust 1”
12. Finish the Side Story “Balance 2”

These will require more than one run to acquire as you need to complete both the bad ending and true ending in order to finish this collection, my advice is to start with the true ending (acquire all 3 cg’s for each character via saving and loading before end of act 1), complete all side stories, then see which ones you are still missing and aim for whichever route you need for the bad ending and the remaining poems.

These are all straightforward, if you’ve completed the true ending and the side stories you should have all of these unlocked.

53. Reply “I love you” to Sayori’s confession (3/3)
54. Just Monika (reach Act 3)
55. Received from the Side Story “Trust 2”
56. Received from the Side Story “Understanding 2”
57. Received from the Side Story “Respect 2”
58. Received from the Side Story “Balance 2”
59. Received from the Side Story “Reflection 2”
60. Received from the Side Story “Self-Love 2”

This is by far the most time consuming portion as it’s entirely based on rng. Every time a complete new game is started (from act 1 using reset.sh) the game chooses 3 out of 11 “special poems” that are able to be viewed during act 2. Out of these 11 poems, only 9 count for the pictures, so Happy Thoughts.png and the corrupted Monika image DO NOT COUNT, but will still take up a slot as a “special poem”.

72. “This unusual screen somehow appeared when launching DDLC during Act 2” (You’ll know you’ve received this when you launch the game from the VM and immediately see an end screen followed by a creepy image of the title screen. The game can be closed however many times as needed until the image appears, but it MUST be during act 2)

73-84. You will get these just by playing, there’s no extensive guide for it just make sure you do the full game and all side stories. (You will receive a background for every location you visit).

These have fairly specific requirements but most of them you’ll recieve from getting the previous images.

85. Select the word “doki-doki” during the poem game
86. In Act 1, try both Sayori and Monika for weekend help before choosing Natsuki or Yuri
87. Delete Monika’s character file before starting a new game (2-Stocked Achievement?)
88. During the poem game, write a perfect poem for Natsuki
89. In Act 1, write all three poems for Natsuki
90. During the poem game, write a perfect poem for Sayori
91. In Act 1, write all three poems for Sayori
92. In Act 1, attempt to load a save file after Sayori’s death (create a save file prior to entering her house, attempt loading a save during the black screen dialogue)
93. During the poem game, write a perfect poem for Yuri
94. In Act 1, write all three poems for Yuri
95. In Act 3, delete Monika’s character file before she begins her monologues (as soon as you are in the Just Monika space area, exit the game and delete her .chr file)
96. Provided in an email communication (I’m not sure which email you receive this from but if you’re still missing it, look up how to access all the hidden files and read through those as it might prompt the email)
97. Achieve the true ending of the story
98. Achieve the true ending of the story
99. In Act 3, press the Skip button while Monika is talking (have to wait until she starts her monologues after the poem writing, might as well get the “She will never be real” achievement while you’re at it)
100. In Act 1, call Sayori for help during Natsuki and Yuri’s argument
101. In Act 1, tell Sayori you would still walk home with her
102. Review the file poemwords.txt for any anomalies
103. In Act 2, experience Natsuki’s “Play with me” scene (Write two poems for Natsuki in Act 2 then talk to her)
104. In Act 2, select a corrupt word during the poem game (you’ll know it’s a corrupt word because it doesn’t fit on the page properly and it’s unreadable lol)

The last set of images and requiring a decent amount of work from previous sections.

105 – 107. In Act 1, write a poem for a different character each chapter (You will receive these 3 at the same time)
108. In Act 3, listen to at least 15 of Monika’s monologues (“She will never be real” achievement, she has some interesting things to say so might as well read them anyways)
109. Acquire all special poems. (Fill out the secrets category in the pictures guide and you should receive this, remember that the special poems are Act 2 only)
110. In Act 2, make it through the weekend without pressing Skip (This is referring to the Yuri death scene, DO NOT press skip at all until Natsuki enters the room or you will not get this. This is a very lengthy section so be patient)
111. Finish all of the Side Stories (Including “Equals”)
112. Select the word “horror” during the poem game
113. Delete Monika for the second time
