ATLAS: Single Player Map and Teleport Guide

Single Player and Admin commands to teleport around the Atlas map. I used map from my own latest update made in September 2022 (may not be the exact date that update came out, but is when I downloaded the latest Atlas).

Basically Atlas map has an 11 x 11 grid marked from A to K in vertical columns, and from 1 to 11 in horizontal rows. The top left starting grid (A1) starts with a value of zero and increases to a value of 10, both in columns and rows. Therefore grid A1 has a value of “0 0” (zero/zero), and K11 will have a value of “10 10” (ten/ten). Understanding this basic setup will help you grasp how the teleport works and also how easy it is to make a mistake.

The guide notes are grouped under the following headings:

1. Teleport notes

2. Freeports with shops and harbours

3. Teleport to at least one island in any grid

Please bring errors under my attention and I will make corrections in my spare time. Thank you!

NB: This manual pre-suppose that you are familiar with how to use the Admin commands in Single Player. If not, please do that first before you try this.

You must have cheating enabled (available in single player or your own server only) by typing “enablecheats <password>” into the console. Also, in single player you do not need to include the word “cheat” in front of the commands below, but even if you do, it will make no difference (it’s just extra typing time).

how to Teleport back to where you currently are:

a. Type “ccc” (without quote marks) into console (using the key-bind that you chose) to copy your current coordinates to the clipboard.
b. Use a text program to paste and save them, or write it down.
c. Then from any place on the map, paste it back into the console to teleport back to that position.

how to teleport to the centre of any grid, use the following command in the console:

cheat gridtpmanual “A” “B” “X” “Y” “Z”

“A” corresponds to the number of the alphabetical columns, starting with “0” (zero) in column “A” and “1” in column “B” etc, up to “10” in column K.
“B” corresponds to the number in the numerical rows starting with “0” (zero) in row “1” and “1” in row “2” etc, up to “10” in row 11.

For example, grid A1 will be “0 0” (zero/space/zero) and grid K11 will be “10 10” (ten/space/ten)

“X”, “Y”, and “Z” can remain at zero values since you are teleporting to centre of the grid.

For example, to teleport to center of grid A1, type:

“cheat gridtpmanual 0 0 0 0 0” (Without quote marks and with a space between each numerical value – zeroes in this case).

Note: There must be a space between values “A, B, X, Y, and Z” for the software to distinguish between these values since it can go to “10” which is a single value using two figures.

NOTE:

When you teleport to the centre of a grid you will drop into the ocean! To extract yourself from drowning, be familiar with the “fly” command in the console.

to teleport to the Islands in section 3, copy and paste the cheat into the console, or type it in cautiously.

Freeport do not have names (to my best but limited knowledge)and I have listed them by location N, W, S and E. Also, all freeports within a grid are identical but rotated through 90 degrees from each other. Freeports are located in the following grids. To go there, type the cheat command listed into your console.
