I played the game in Spanish, so I won’t point the actual name of each in-game character, however:
(in order from top right to bottom left)
1. The Turtle (TMNT)
2. Mustache guy (Resembles Haggar, from Final Fight)
3. Samus (Metroid)
4. The Amazon (This is a reference from Wonder Boy, the Sega Classic Arcade)
5. The Werewolf (This is the character from Altered Beast, another retro game, which transforms in a werewolf, as the kids mention)
6. Rui (Street Fighter)
7. The Knight (The main character of Ghost ‘n’ Goblins)
8. Blondie (I presume is a mock up of Sonya Blade, from the MK franchise)
9. Ken (Street Fighter) -> Not quite sure; it can very well be Ken from SFII but he can also be Johnny Lawrence from Karate Kid movie/series franchise.
10. The Doctor (This is Doctor Fred, from Maniac Mansion game)
