How to play Princess & Conquest in full screen without bars

Introduction

A simple and quick guide on how to make the game in flawless full screen, without bars.

Make sure to follow all three parts of the guide in order to ensure full screen.

Part I – Scaling

PART I – WINDOWS RESOLUTION SCALING

The following part depends on which graphic adapter device you use. In most cases, you will have to download and install a graphic control panel for your own graphic adapter device (for example, Nvidia, AMD, Intel HD, etc.)

Obs.: Even for people with dedicated video cards (such as Nvidia), it is still helpful to try these settings using the Intel Graphics Command Center.

1. Download and install “Intel Graphics Command Center”
2. Open “Intel Graphics Command Center” -> Click the monitor icon
3. In “Scale”, choose “Stretched” -> Click “Keep”

Obs.:

If you need further help with the scaling part, you can take a look at the following guide, there are also many resources online that go into more detail on how to have stretched scaling on Windows.

Part II – In-Game Settings

PART II – IN-GAME SETTINGS

1. Launch Princess & Conquest -> Go to the main menu to appear
2. Press F1
3. In General, make sure “Launch in Full Screen” is turned OFF
4. Click “OK”
5. Use the “Shutdown” option and quit Princess & Conquest

Part III – Screen Resolution

PART III – SCREEN RESOLUTION

1. Change screen resolution to 800 x 600
2. Launch Princess & Conquest
3. Go to the main menu
4. (If necessary) Press F5

Final Notes

This guide may not work in every computer on the planet, but as long as you completely follow all the steps to the letter (and make sure stretched scaling is working properly), you should be able to play the game in flawless full screen.
