Here is a short guide on how to clear your game save and reset your game.
How to Reset Your Game
So, doing a new game screws things up, including cards unlocked that shouldn’t be and Baptise not letting you invest until you pass the day you last invested in your previous game.
They don’t make it easy to purge. In addition to the cloud save, and the primary save, there’s a secondary save and tertiary save. (oh and uninstalling and reinstalling doesn’t get clear most of these)
The devs should make a settings item with multiple confirmations to wipe out all the saved data.
To purge:
1) disable cloud save (right click on game and click properties and uncheck cloud save)
2) then delete primary and secondary and tertiary save.
3) Then start a new game. Even then it will remember the slots that were used for saving, except now they no data.
4) Then play until you can save and exit the game
5) enable cloud save again. It will say cloud status file conflict, pick local save to overwrite.
Primary save location (can delete all in the saved folder which includes the config, or just the save folder):
%USERPROFILE%/AppData/Local/Potionomics/Saved
Secondary Backup save (don’t delete the .exe file) :
\Steam\steamapps\common\Potionomics\Potionomics\Binaries\Win64
Tertiary backup save (can delete all here):
\Steam\userdata\__USERNUMBER__\1874490\remote
