The Romance System hasn’t been implemented yet, but that doesn’t mean we can’t preemptively max out the affections of our waifus and husbandos! This is what I have found during my playthrough. It is by far not complete so please leave a comment with any gifts I’ve missed and I will add it to the guide!

Bamboo Flute*: 9❤️
*Given as an early quest reward, can also be purchased from travelling merchant. 。
Red Flower*: 9 ❤️
*Can be found in Sunset Forest.
Dry Braised Frog: 5❤️
Preserved Fruit: 5❤️Collection of the Lost Stories*: 9❤️
*Can be purchased from travelling merchant.
Liangpi*: 5❤️
*A food dish (its actually quite delicious, one of my personal favourite foods irl).
Jujube Cake: 5❤️
Records of Guiyun Sect*: 9❤️

Wei Hong loves puppets (or wooden dolls) and likes braised chicken.
Ji Yaohua loves that violet cloth that can be bought from the travelling merchant.
You Jinghe the craftsman loves (+9 friendship) “Tiangong Hammer” (looks like a wooden hammer).
Wei Hong the machine expert loves (+9 friendship) “Puppet” (looks like a wooden doll).
Ji Yaohua the merchant/business expert loves (+9 friendship) “Purple Embroidery” (looks like lavender cloth).
All of these are sold randomly by the traveling merchant for 300 spirit shards a piece, when she visits Ferry Stop at the beginning and middle of each season, so stock up!
This merchant also randomly sells Chen’s “Bamboo Flute”, Yang’s “Records of Guiyun Sect”, and Li’s “Collection of the Lost Stories”. Mu Xia’s loved gift “Red Flower” is the easiest to obtain and costs nothing because it can be gathered in the Sunset Forest during all 4 seasons.
