This guide will provide you with essential tips, locations, and strategies to enhance your gameplay experience.
Intro
I also recommend joining the community Discord[discord.com] to keep in touch with the community and ask for advice (though you’re welcome to ask here, too!) The dev is lovely and super attentive to any questions, suggestions, or bug reports.
Tips & Secrets
C:\Users\your name\AppData\Local\Cinnabunny\Saved\SaveGames
Copy the .sav files to a safe place and you’ll be able to restore them if anything happens!
– You can set your game to autosave every 5 minutes, every time you sleep, or never, underneath the ‘gameplay settings’ tab. You can also save manually on the exit menu.
– You can disable bread burning at the very bottom of the gameplay settings menu.
– When looking for a particular bunny, you can open your bunny journal and use the ‘sniff location’ feature. This lets you sniff out their trail and follow a path directly to them!
– While in the forest or the caves, you can face and hold-click on your flutterby companion to be quickly returned to town.
– In the caves, you may have noticed some funny blue creatures floating about. They disappear if you try to catch them with your Net Gun. Instead, look for any nearby ‘thingies’ (I don’t know what to call them hehe) – grey tiles with three blue claws sticking out around them. Carefully guide (chase) the blue dudes into one. If you’re successful, they’ll do a funky little animation and a chest will appear.
– In Omar’s tavern, on the left side of the bar, there’s a barrel of ‘Special Drink’. When the tavern is open from 3:30pm-late, you can grab a drink for 15 carrots and get a little silly. (I don’t think doing this has any actual effects, but it’s goofy and I love it.)
Achievements

Set out from your old home to find a land without drought.
Story achievement – unlocks after the tutorial.
Flour Power
Bake your first loaf of bread.
Story achievement – unlocks after baking your first flatbread.
Let Them Eat Bread

Story achievement – unlocks after gifting Omar some flatbread.
Bun Cannot Live On Bread Alone
Add a supplemental ingredient to one of your recipes.
Off the Beaten Batch
Create a baked good with three supplemental ingredients.
You can add up to three supplemental ingredients to any one recipe. More info on obtaining and using ingredients in their dedicated section below!
Doughmination
Unlock every possible recipe.
There are 13 recipes in total, unlockable by gifting villagers their favourite foods. This achievement was bugged until recently, so if you have all 13 recipes and it’s still not unlocked, gift any villager a food they love and it should pop right away 🙂
Cinn-sational
Bake a Cinnabunny, thus cloaking yourself in glory.
The Cinnabunny is the last recipe you’ll unlock. Bake one and cloak yourself in glory!
Enter the caves for the first time.
Branching Out
Explore the forest for the first time.
The caves and forest are areas unlockable via the community projects board at the post office (500 carrots each). They’ll take a few days to complete, then head on in and voila 🙂
My Deer Friend
Become friends with a deer and accept a ride.
The deer feeder is also unlockable via the community projects board. Once it’s ready, it can be found in the forest, a little way up the path to the right (it’ll look like a small black box with yellow food in it, sitting against a tree).
When you see the deer, approach it.It’ll run away, but if you approach it again over the following days, it’ll talk to you before eventually offering you a ride. From memory, I was able to ride on the fourth day, but that number may vary. You can then accept a ride by equipping the Deer Xun ocarina on your tool wheel and calling it to you.
Gone With the Wind
Glide across the water on a kiteboard for the first time.
The kiteboard is unlockable via the community projects board. Once it’s ready, head to the beach west of Mori’s farm to find it. If the it’s windy enough, the kiteboard will be floating on the breeze as you approach it.
Small Hare, Big Air
While kiteboarding, jump into the air with a hangtime of at least 5.7 seconds.
I’m still working out out how to stop being terrible at this. Will update asap :’)
Hare Force One
Hop in a bi-plane to explore the skies.
Unlockable via the community projects board for 10,000 carrots. Head into the forest and you’ll find the two bi-planes up the back on a long dirt runway.
Getting the Hang of It
Find and use a Hang Glider.
This spawns somewhere, but I haven’t found it yet. I’ll lyk B)
A Hop in the Right Direction
Send enough carrots to move your first family member to Sugar Creek Burrows.
Four Ears Are Better Than Two
Move two family members to Sugar Creek Burrows.
Three of a Kind
Move three family members to Sugar Creek Burrows.
Four-tunate Family
Move four family members to Sugar Creek Burrows.
Dad-icated Effort
Move five family members to Sugar Creek Burrows.
Hoppily Ever After
Move every member of your family to Sugar Creek Burrows.
These are self-explanatory, but a bit of a grind. Each family member costs a lot of carrots and several days to move – that said, they’re worth doing ASAP, as each family member gifts different items to help you progress.
You can send carrots via the blue box in the post office (in the corner, to the right of the community board). Costs and gifts are listed in the spoilers below!
Luna – 2,500 carrots (seeds and crops)
Jax – 10,000(?) carrots (basic ingredients)
Nora – 20,000(?) carrots (mushrooms and eggs)
Jasper – 30,000 carrots (supplemental ingredients)
Theo – ?
Seda – ? (baked goods)
Perch Perfect
Take the perfect bird photograph.
This one’s a little bit tricky! From what I can tell, the perfect photograph needs to have the bird facing the camera, their full body in frame, and zoomed in so they’re not too far away. This seems to be easiest with birds sitting in trees in the forest, rather than birds on the ground or in the air. This will be easier at a higher level, when you can get closer without scaring them off.
You need to get 95 points or more to earn the achievement.
A Cap-tivating Find
Pick your first mushroom.
The Fungus Among Us
Pick 20 different species of mushrooms.
Shroom Service
Donate every species of mushroom to the mycologist.
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
Catch your first recyclobot.
A Net Gain
Catch 20 types of recyclobots.
Master Bun, Wielder of Nets
Catch every type of recyclobot.
Wingin’ It
Use the birdoculars to take your first bird picture.
Supremely Talonted
Take pictures of 16 different bird species.
Bird Whisperer
Photograph every species of bird.
More information on finding mushrooms, recyclobots, and birds in the sections below 🙂
Gifting
Baked goods have a chance at being of higher quality, dependant on your skill level. If a bunny politely tells you their gift wasn’t good enough, you either need a higher quality product, or to reevaluate your choice in supplementary ingredients. They’ll sometimes request one of their ‘liked’ flavours, which I’ll work on adding here, but their hints are usually pretty obvious!

Ingredients
Basic ingredients also have a chance to be gifted byJax (basic ingredients) and Nora (Easter eggs).
All supplemental ingredients sans berries, nuts, peanut butter, and pink salt can be bought from Juniper at the market.
Some ingredients can be looted from chests in the mines, rewarded from Rowan’s recyclobot machine, or gifted byJasper. Villagers may gift you ingredients or shrubs (to harvest berries, thyme, and possibly rosemary and sage) in exchange for their most loved baked goods, but only if you’ve either gifted it to them before, or have already unlocked all 13 recipes.

Mushrooms
Some spawns are affected by the season, but unfortunately I didn’t keep track of these as I found them, so I’m starting from scratch. Bear with me for a couple days <3
Recyclobots
I’m not yet sure whether the season or time of day affects recyclobot spawns. Will update as I figure it out! I’m also working on a map to mark and clarify each of these locations instead of using a list. 🙂
Beach – along the shore on the west side of town, sometimes in the grassy area alongside it.
Marketplace – surrounding the marketplace stalls. I usually have the best luck first thing in the morning, before or while the bunnies set up shop for the day.
Farm – Mori’s farm near the beach. They can sometimes be hidden by crops, so it’s worth walking through and keeping an eye out (I always run through on my way to sell mushrooms!)
Town – this can be just about anywhere, but hot spots tend to be along paths or in the middle of the large fields. I’m keeping track of where I spot them the most and will mark it on a map soon!
Caves – as you enter the caves, immediately look to your left, nearby the pink trees. There’s almost always one creeping around in the darkness.
Forest – similarly to the town, critters will hide just about anywhere. Keep your eyes peeled while looking for mushrooms and Easter eggs!
River – this refers to the rivers in the forest, not in town. If you spot one, take the dive! There’s always somewhere along the riverside you’ll be able to claw your way back out and onto land.
