Digimon Survive is a visual novel RPG game developed by
HYDE, Inc. as the game is just released on Steam. there are some bugs and issues for you to play with. here is a simple guide on fix game freeze or crash after the cutscene.

How to Fix Game Freeze or Crash After Cutscene

Method 1: Install VLC Media Player (Credit to wwm0nkey)

1. Go to ProgramFiles(x86) > K-Lite
2. Uninstall K-Lite
3. Install VLC here https://www.videolan.org/vlc/

Method 2: Replace the Save File After the Cutscene (Credit to Kritis)

Here’s a save file saved at the earlier point after the cutscene: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1WgI6JUnH_d9IL4ts98e6M-Ga0RyNT1RQ/view

Move the save into \AppData\LocalLow\©BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Inc_\DIGIMON SURVIVE\Savedata\[your steamid]

If you don’t know how to get to AppData press Win+S and type in %appdata%

Good news is there only 4 movie files in the games directory. 3 different language versions of this movie that is blocking everyone and one other which I’m assuming is the intro when you launch the game.

Digimon Survive is now available on Steam, more new contents and fixes will be upcoming in future updates.
