Tired of having the camera always auto-center? Just want to enjoy the view while blazing across the hills of Oregon? Well, here is your solution!
Note: We recommend you use Notepad(Just Google and Downlod from the official website) to edit the ini file and you should backup the ini file before you edit it. thanks to Eisen for sharing the great method.
How to edit your .ini file and where to find it.
“GameUserSettings.ini”
it is located in the following folder:
“C:\Users\[YOUR USERNAME]\AppData\Local\BendGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor”
MAKE A BACKUP JUST IN CASE
——————————————————————————————————
(Camera for BIKE) Now edit the following line:
bBikeCameraTrackingEnabled=True
edit it to:
bBikeCameraTrackingEnabled=False
——————————————————————————————————-
(Camera ON FOOT) Now edit the following line:
bCameraFollowTrackingEnabled=True
edit it to:
bCameraFollowTrackingEnabled=False
——————————————————————————————————-
Now the annoying auto-centering is gone!
——————————————————————————————————-
PS: Vertical centering will still happen, but at least you can now look around you 360° without the camera snapping back to the direction you’re moving in.
——————————————————————————————————-
Little Bonus
Just change
FOV=
and add your desired Field of View.
