If your game crashes on launch and has the Error Code: PV02
Here is a quick and simple fix.
The error message

Step 1
Go to your Library and Right Click on the game, then pick Properties.

Step 2
Go to your Local Files then do an Verify integrity of game files…
This will search for corrupted or missing files, once found it will download the files or replace them.

Step 3
Once downloaded the new files the game will ask to do an File Integrity Check. Press No
If you press yes it can get stuck there for hours on end.

I don’t know how to thank you enough, It took me an entire day to try to fix it and i got nowhere, thank you for fixing my game
i did it and it comes back after i play for like 5 minutes and then i have to validate the game and then play for 5 minutes and then it crashes for the same reason
Couldnt get past the MS XBox login at the very start. Typing -dx11 in the steam starting arguments fixed my problem.
