Truckful: All Collectibles Locations

I went into Truckful expecting a chill delivery game and came out an obsessive collector hunting down newspaper back issues and UFO models. This guide is my own working list of every collectible I could track down in the valley — but let me be upfront before you scroll: I’m not pinning a map marker on every single one. A good chunk of these are handed to you through story missions, and trying to grab them out of order will just leave you confused. What follows is the full set, split by how you actually get them.

Collectibles You Get From Main Story Orders

These sixteen items are tied to the main questline and will land in your collection automatically as you work through the story. I’m listing them with the exact mission that delivers each one, because a few of them arrive when you accept a job rather than when you finish it — an easy detail to miss if you’re blitzing through the dialog.

Collectible How You Get It
Letter to the Bodhiso Hotel owner Main story — accept the mission The Journey Begins
Letter to Ruti Main story — complete The Burning Forest
The Valley Echo issue DXC Main story — complete Chemical Express
The Valley Echo issue DXCI Main story — complete “Postman”
The Valley Echo issue CCXLIII Main story — accept the mission Medical Transport
The Valley Echo issue CLXXXIII Main story — accept the mission Liberate the Western Forest
The Valley Echo issue CLXXIII Main story — complete Dive Into the Past
Helen Voss‘s military ID Main story — complete Talk to Dad
The Valley Echo issue DXCII Main story — complete Mayor Pebble’s New Era
Patrol report, circa 1992 Main story — complete Talk to Mom Again
Helen Voss‘s military report Main story — complete Talk to Mom Again
Late-1980s informant letter Main story — complete The Confession Begins
The Valley Echo issue DXCIII Main story — complete Albin’s Atonement
Disaster Investigation Committee report, circa 1993 Main story — complete Files From the Censorship Bureau
Chakra Field Detector — Rugged Model After completing Files From the Censorship Bureau, it appears on the ground beside the library
Chakra Field Detector — Prototype After completing Files From the Censorship Bureau, it appears on the fence to the left of the library
The Valley Echo issue DXCIV Main story — complete Go See Mr. Brodnik

Notice that most of The Valley Echo issues come from finishing a job, but a couple — the CCXLIII and CLXXXIII issues — pop the moment you take the mission. If you’re checking your collection mid-quest and something hasn’t shown up, that’s often why. And the two Chakra Field Detector variants are the odd ones out: they don’t come from a mission handoff at all, they just materialize near the library once you’ve closed out Files From the Censorship Bureau. Walk around that building and check the ground and the fence line — I’d have walked right past both if I hadn’t been specifically looking.

Collectibles From Side and Non-Story Orders

Here’s the bulk of the list — the ones that don’t get handed to you. A few of these I found just by poking around caves and cliffs, and a handful have location hints baked into the game’s world zones. Where I have a concrete lead, I’ve noted it; where I don’t, the item still needs to be tracked down through side content.

  • Valley UFO Model, 1980
  • The Valley Echo issue CDLVIII
  • Local Forest Creatures postcard
  • De-vaccinator
  • Anti-Brainwave Invasion Helmet
  • Valley Geology, first edition
  • The Valley Echo edition XLII
  • The Valley Echo edition CCCXXVI
  • The Law Prohibiting the Disturbance of Weeds
  • The Valley Echo edition CCLXV
  • Local Mineral Specimen Collection I
  • Wanted poster for Richard Skotchlas, about 1993
  • Spy Pigeon With Camera
  • Valley UFO Model, 1965
  • Mysterious Footprint Photo Collection (enter via TN4, near the cave entrance)
  • Local Mineral Specimen Collection III
  • Local Mineral Specimen Collection II
  • The Valley Echo issue CXIII (enter via TW3, near the cave entrance)
  • Skeletal fossil, approx. 150 million years old (TW3 — after entering, head uphill, then roughly the middle layer on the left, at the cliff edge)
  • Exorcism Car Air Freshener
  • Valley UFO Model, 1996
  • Miner’s Wooden Carving, early 20th century (use the entrance shown in the second image — inside, take the right path, enter the first hole in the wall, then head down the slope to its very end)
  • Plant fossil, approx. 350 million years old (enter via üM2, head downhill, pass the garage, then go up the slope on the right — it’s on the mural along the roadside)
  • Old Pickaxe (from the cave entrance in the second image, walk right, enter the hole in the wall, go down the slope, then take the right-hand downhill path, round a small U-bend, and you’ll reach the sub-level platform — it’s at the left end of that platform)
  • Dark Locomotive Painting
  • Calendar Twelve Months of Ore Carts, 1997 (collectible early in the game — the image looks red because it was captured in the late game; I’m the blind one who only spotted it at the end)
  • Bodhiso Hotel Advertisement
  • Dark Truck Painting

That calendar note deserves a second look, because it’s a genuinely useful heads-up: it’s available from the early game, so you don’t need to wait for some late-game unlock just because the screenshots make it look like an endgame item. The red tint is purely a late-game lighting quirk in the original captures. I’d hate for anyone to skip it early and then have to loop back the way I did.

Conclusion

Chasing every one of these down is a slow, sometimes stubborn process, but the story-locked items do most of the work for you. Work the main orders first, sweep the library after the censorship mission, then budget an afternoon for the cave routes — and don’t sleep on that calendar early on.
