Fevered Pepper can be eaten for water and nutrition, and is an effective food source when farmed. Also you can craft a Spicy Fruit Salad with one Fevered Pepper and Preston’s Plant Leaf. The blueprint for Spicy Fruit Salad can be acquired by picking up a PDA “I’d rather be hunting” in Marguerit’s Greenhouse. The Spicy Fruit Salad replenishes the player’s H₂O levels and a large amount of hunger, as well as increasing body heat.
