What it is?
Cards are extremely rare items that have a chance to drop from enemy creatures after battle. Each Card is part of a “Card Set“, and when you collect enough Cards in a Card Set, your creatures will receive a passive bonus in battle. There is a Card for every single creature in Rodia.
You can view all the Cards you’ve collected, as well as the bonuses you’ve unlocked for them, by selecting the Cards option from the main menu.
How it works?
_
Each Card is part of a “Card Set“, and a Set is defined by “race“. Each creature belongs to a “race” and there are usually around 6 creatures in a race.
For exemple, the Apocalypse race consists of:
- Aaxer Apocalypse
- Agor Apocalypse
- Corox Apocalypse
- Gorum Apocalypse
- Inox Apocalypse
- Zarox Apocalypse
When you collect enough Cards in a Card Set, you unlock a passive bonus.
A Card Set passive bonus is usually divided into 3 “parts”, defined by the quantity of Cards collected.
_
As you can see in the example above, when you collect 2 Apocalypse Cards, you unlock the first passive bonus from the Card Set. Keep in mind that the number of cards needed to unlock the passive bonus can change depending on the number of creatures in a race.
Every creature has its own Card, so you have to collect a Card from each creature that belongs to a race, to progress and complete the Card Set.
_
Note: Fighting the same creature won’t drop a card of other creatures of the same race.
Knowledge, Rank and the Why
When you kill a creature for the first time, it will be added to your Bestiary and you will be able to check the creature’s Stats, Lore and Knowledge.
_
There are two ways, that i know of, to get Knowledge Points.
1. When you kill;
– Regular creatures, you will get 30 Knowledge Points. *
– “Unique” creatures and Gods, you will get 10 Knowledge Points. **
2. From Studies(Field Item);
Studies are field item that you will get from rewards and for breaking/interacting with objects in realms. *
_
Note: You can get Studies for Special Creatures** and it will give the same amount of Knowledge Points for its respective tier.
*Realm Instability:
DO NOT increase
– The Knowledge Points you get from a creature.
– The drop rate of cards.DO increase
– The quantity of items(i.e. Studies) you get from chests and rewards.
**There are some Special Creatures that you’ll encounter on your jorney that have different rules compared to the regular creatures, like amount of Knowledge Points, Creature Mana, unable to use some game mechanics, and etc. (i.e. Mimic)
Knowledge also has Rank, that is determinated by the amount of Knowledge Points you gained for a specific creature. When you get a certain amout of Knowledge Points for a creature, your creature Knowledge will rank up. Rank ranges from F to S and each Rank gives a bonus.
Why i wanted to talk about Creature Knowledge and Rank are for these 3 obvious reason:
[Hunt Misson] is a Project mission that let you select a Rank D creature from your Bestiary and when you complete the mission, you will be rewarded with random Studies of the creature you have selected.
[Divination Candle] is a Project that once unlocked, the Divination Candle will start to appear when you enter a realm. When you interact with it, it will let select Rank C creatures from your Bestiary to be summoned in the realm for 1k Power, the cost will increase by 1k Power every time you use it.
Resource Cards & Where to farm
Feel free to leave a comment if you know a better way of farming or suggest methods that works for you.
Where to farm:
- Unsullied Meadows Realm (Realm Instability 0);
- Once you get a Rank C Griffon, keep doing step 1 but start using Divination Candle (3~4 rounds then reset realm);
Where to farm:
- Frostbite Caverns Realm (Realm Instability 0);
- Once you get a Rank C Wight, keep doing step 1 but start using Divination Candle (3~4 rounds then reset realm);
Where to farm:
- Frostbite Caverns Realm (Realm Instability 0);
- Once you get a Rank C Stag, keep doing step 1 but start using Divination Candle (3~4 rounds then reset realm);
Where to farm:
- Frostbite Caverns Realm (Realm Instability 0);
- Once you get a Rank C Stag, keep doing step 1 but start using Divination Candle (3~4 rounds then reset realm);
Where to farm:
- Kingdom of Heretics Realm or Torture Chamber Realm (Realm Instability 0);
- Once you get a Rank C Minotaur, keep doing step 1 but start using Divination Candle (3~4 rounds then reset realm);
Note: Once you get a Rank D Creature, you can do Hunt Mission and get it to Rank C so you can summon it using the Divination Candle, but this is optional since projects takes quite some time to complete, do it if you are having a really hard time finding the creature you want in realms;
FAQ
No.
You will unlock more creatures every 15 realm depths, so make sure to keep progressing.
- Select your highest depth;
- keep RI to zero and select the realm you want to farm;
- do the realm misson, clear the map, use the Divination Candle if you have a creature that you are farming and do 3~4 rounds;
- if you have completed any projects/prophecies/etc go back to town otherwise go to next depth;
- go back to step;
Go to Main Menu > Options > Display and set Zoom to <1x>
press Alt + Enter to go fullscreen
bad for your eyes, but good for your sanity.
