How To Get Every Achievement
The next sections are categories of Achievements and how to obtain them.
Ending Achievements
One of the three Endings to the game. To get the Good Ending, you need to be nice to keep both of your friends and not lose any one of them.
One of the three Endings to the game and the hardest one to get, in theory. To get the Neutral Ending, you need to be mean to one of your friends to get them leave but then be nice to your last friend to prolong and keep your last and only friend from leaving you.
Click here to see my Neutral Ending strategy in my Endings Guide.
One of the three Endings to the game and the one that’ll make you cry for being mean to your friends and losing them as a result. To get the Bad Ending, you need to be mean to both of your friends until they leave you all alone.
To get the Achievement, you need to finish a Good Ending playthrough and then get any ending on your replaythrough, either the Good Ending again, or the Neutral or Bad Ending.
One of the final Achievements of the game. To get the Achievement, you need to finish all three endings. You will get it at the end of the final ending you finish.
Story Related Achievements
One of the two areas you can choose to journey to in a playthrough’s adventure. To get the Achievement, you have to choose the island instead of the Temple in your Pony’s flashback scene.

At the end of a playthrough, you’ll either go to one of two final areas to stop the Shadow Horsies. The Northern Wastelands or Southern Badlands depending on the dialogue choices you made with the Witch Mare/Adventurer Mare near the start of the game. To get the Achievement, here are one of the many combinations of the right dialogue options for all of the Witch Mare/Adventurer Mare’s questions to end up going to the Northern Wastelands at the end of your playthrough.
For Example, for each question by the Witch Mare/Adventurer Mare, a 1 stands for the first dialogue choice, a 2 stands for the second dialogue choice, a 3 stands for the third dialogue choice, and a 4 stands for the last dialogue choice.

At the start of your adventure, as soon as you wake up and meet your new friends, they give you a random name. Afterwards, they choose if you want to either be called “[player name] the Adventurer” or “[player name] the Witch”. To get the Achievement, you have to choose for your friends to call you a Witch.

Morality Path Related Achievements
To get the Achievement, you need to be a Adventurer, and your friends have to be slightly low on happiness. Once the requirements are met, you can buy the Theft Perk for one Friendship Point, at which point you need to go in a random encounter and then use it before approaching any Mares by clicking on your Pony’s menu and then clicking the Theft icon.

One wrong dialogue choice, and you’re getting kicked out of the tea shop, at least for that encounter! You would have to find another one to get another chance at it. Luckily for you, here are the right choices you need to make to get the Achievement.
Misc. Achivements
One of the easiest achievements you can literally get as soon as you start up the game for the first time. To get the Achievement, all you have to do on the title screen is click on the credits at the top right and wait for ElectroKaplosion/Red’s amazing 10/10 song to finish. Take a seat and watch the two cute Mares put on different faces and maybe have some giggles here and there.
End Of The Guide
Congrats! You made it through my entire guide on how to get all the Achievements in MareQuest: An Interactive Tale!
Whether it helped you to get the last Achievements you needed, or whether you read it out of boredom, thank you so much for reading this huge guide of mine! I like making guides honestly! They help people, and are tons of fun to put in all the time to perfect it by design!
A huge thanks to Xzar’s (also known as Dosenware here in the guide as Contributor and on Steam in general) spreadsheet file on Google Docs! Without him and his help in DMs on Discord, I doubt I would of been able to do the hardest Achievements to describe how to get, the Northen Wastelands and Southern Badlands ones, and some other Achievements he helped me with describing to you guys.
A big thanks also to SteamDB which is where I got the ripped Achievement icons from and where I kept the page open for the descriptions and names of each achievement!
Thanks to Tetrahedron Dash for his excellent guide; all credits belong to his effort. If this guide helps you, please support and rate it via Steam Community. Enjoy the game.
