A simple guide to jumping to and from Chapters in Half-Life 1 as well as how to aquire the HEV Suit and Weapons on Instant command.
If you’re like me and hate having to play through the game to get to a certain point or hate loading saves to a certain point then look no further. In this guide i’ll explain just how to skip to any point in the game and get any weapon of choice plus the HEV suit.
First things first, before you type in the map you’ll want to enable the developer console through options.
2nd, press ~ on your keyboard below ESC. Then type in the console “sv_cheats 1”
Now that you’re ready to Teleport, type in the console “map’ and then the map name.
Do note, you won’t start with anything so you’ll have to type in the commands each time.
To combat this i recommend you bind the command to make it faster and easier.
To do so type in the console “bind” then the key and command.
